Nana Fredua Ofori-Attah

Nana Fredua-Agyeman Ofori-Atta received his Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric & Communication from University at Albany, New York, USA in 1991. He later received his LLB from University of London in 2016. Nana has long outstanding career in Media, PR, Communication and running multiple businesses.

Nana’s media publications started as a columnist for the Statesman Newspaper in 1994, RTV Reviews Magazine in 1997 and the InTheHouse Magazine on governance in 2011. In 1999, he was the senior advisor to the Okyenhene, a member of the Kyebi Council and a member of the Statutory Planning Committee for East Akyem District Assembly.

Nana was the Chief of Staff at the Office of the Okyehene in 1999, where he was responsible for the coordination of the Okyenhene’s official activities and other corporate social responsibilities. In 2002, Nana assumed the role of Director of Administration and Finance of the Beyeeman Freezing Company where he was responsible for administration and finances of the company.

He became the Managing Director in 2003 and is currently the Governing Director of the company. He is also the founder and Chairman of BiremInvest Group Ltd, an Agribusiness, Trade and Transportation company. He was appointed by the Government in 2006 as the Assembly Member for East Akyem District Assembly and he consulted on the conditions of work for the Ministry of Public Sector Reform in 2007.

He founded the Festivals of the Birem Foundation, a culture advocacy foundation, and SpeakAfrica Foundation; a foundation dedicated to the advocacy of parliamentary governance, health, youth, education, and the environment. As a master media, PR, and communication expert, Nana founded Three Heads and a Pen Productions Ltd. an Audio-Visual Productions in 2009 and in 2017, he founded Damram PR, a Communication Consultancy.

In the Broadcasting scene, he was the host and creator of the show; A Glass of Wine on Radio Gold, the host of Matters Arising on Choice Fm, the host of Media Watch on Radio Univers, the co-host of the Vibe Breakfast Show on Vibe Fm and the Sit- In-Host of Good Morning Ghana on Metro Tv.
